FAQ

How to book a session?

Choose the type of your session, date and send me a request via website or instagram.

When and where will my session take place

Generally babies don’t arrive when predicted, but I will put you in my calendar for your birth ‘month’. Please let me know when your baby arrives and we can confirm the exact date of your session.

If your baby has already been born, you can still book a shoot. It is also better to get in touch in advance, but I may have some availability.

Newborn sessions take place in my purpose-built cozy and warm home studio in Greenwich. Just bring yourself and your baby and rest assured that the studio is fully stocked with all the necessary props, toiletries, and snacks to keep you comfortable throughout your session.

I also offer unique newborn experience in the comfort of your own home. On the date of your session I come to your home with everything needed.

How long does a session take

Newborn posed sessions in my studio always take approximately up to 3 hours and always depends on a baby.

Maternity sessions in my studio take up to 2 hours.

Home lifestyle sessions (don't include posed baby photography) always take up to 2 hours.

Home newborn posed photography + lifestyle sessions takes up to 3 hours.

All my sessions are never rushed.

How should I prepare

After paying the deposit  I will send you a full guide with all the information how to prepare for your session: what to expect, what to wear and how the whole process will go.

I supply a client's closet with a lovely selection of outfits, bodysuits, accessories and floaty fabrics for mums to be, and blankets, hand knitted outfits and authentic props for babies.

You are always welcome to choose your own outfit as well.

When should I book my shoot

I recommend book your session in advance.

I usually recommend book your maternity session when you are 14-16 weeks. And the shoot itself will take place between 28-36 weeks of gestation. It is the time when your bump is so cute and round and you are not too tired yet.

I recommend booking your newborn photography session when you have had your 20 week scan so we can pencil in a date based on your due date. If your baby arrives earlier or later we will move your date. The best time to photograph your newborn is between 7-16 days. During this period they can be posed in a wider variety of ways and don't have colics or baby acne.

Will you retouch my images

Yes, of course. I pay a lot of attention to photo editing. All packages include my signature creative styling and professional image retouching. After our session I will hand edit each image to the very highest standard.

Also I'll often discuss with you which element you would want to remove or soft in the images.

FAQ

What are your COVID policies

Prior to every single photoshoot I contact the parent and confirm there are no symptoms of illness. When you arrive on site, I will be wearing a mask, and I keep hand sanitizer on me at all times. I will setup all of my props, then sanitize my hands and put on cotton gloves. All props are carefully chosen before the session, and I only photograph one newborn session per day. After the newborn photoshoot I disinfect all of my baskets/props with natural cleaning products. The safety of your newborn is my number one priority so if I am not feeling well, or anyone in my household is unwell I will notify you to reschedule.

Do I need to hire a professional make-up and hair artist for a maternity session?

I truly believe that simplicity is a key to everything. On the day of the shoot you just need to wash your hair, naturally makeup your eyes and make soft waves in hair or just keep it natural. You already have everything you need within you - your beauty and glow. And my main goal as a photographer is to capture it!

But of course the choice is up to you. I work with a couple of really wonderful artists who come to my studio frequently to take care of my clients. I have left this as an optional add on in case you have an artist you already love...

For your convenience my colleague can travel to your home to do your hair and make-up.

What should I bring with me?

In my studio you will find a large supply of hats,

headbands, and wraps for your baby that we can play with. If you have a favourite toy or blanket, please bring these with you.

All you need to bring is your baby, nappies/wipes, dummy (just in case) and baby food.

I have a selection of elegant and natural style outfits, floaty fabrics, bodysuits and accessories for mums that we can use to style your maternity session but it is always a great idea to bring a few of your favourite dresses and outfits along.

What colour scheme will you use?

My style of photography is natural. It is is inspired by bohemian style and minimalism. That’s why in my work I like to use neutral colours and backdrops - beige, brown, cream, white, olive, grey.

Can I get all good files from my session?

Unedited files is only a one half of a final professional photography product.

I decided to include this option to all my packages as a preview.

Can I print the photos from my gallery?

I truly believe that your images deserve to be displayed in high-quality photo print. These memories you will cherish forever.

That's why you can purchase premium quality products after viewing your gallery.

I do recommend getting your printed products through me to guarantee high quality, but you are under no obligation to do so. I am not liable for any prints or products i have not supplied. The printing labs I work with provide the premium quality printed products.

FAQ

When the photos will be ready

I usually send a preview with all unedited photos in 2-3 days after your session.

You will receive the images in approximately 2-3 weeks time from your selection and will be able to view them via online gallery.

Can my husband or other siblings be included in the photos?

My purpose-built home studio is a cozy and small place, it is perfect for a couple maternity photography, newborn, small families up to 4 or "Mummy + me" sessions.

I love involving parents in the photos, but for a big family I always recommend to choose a lifestyle in home type of session.

Do you share images on social media?

My images are my main promotional tool. I would be very grateful for your permission to use any images from your final gallery on my social media pages.

If you would prefer your images not to be shared - just let me know before your session.

Are your newborn sessions safe?

Yes, absolutely! I am a certified newborn specialist with over 7 years of experience in  photography.

Your baby's safety is my number one priority.

My newborn style is a combination of posed and more natural and lifestyle images of baby using wraps, hand crafted cloth and toys. I will put your baby only into safe, comfortable and natural poses both in props and on a beanbag.
